Can I phone or email my order?
The best way to place an order is through our new online ordering system. However you can call us, use the online chat or email us with your questions and we will be happy to help you.

When can I place orders?
You can place orders online any time.

How long in advance do I need to place my order?

Placing your order as soon as possible is suggested to ensure your desired date is available. We can only fulfill a limited number of orders each week and we book on a first come, first serve basis. Popular dates (like holidays) are often booked 3 to 6 weeks in advance.

We ask that standard cake orders be placed at least 1 week in advance. We require at least three weeks notice for specialty cakes.

Feel free to check with us if you are within 2 weeks, you never know, we’ll see what we can do. For simple cupcakes, we can often have those ready with 48 hours’ notice — no guarantees. We rarely can accommodate rush orders.

Can I place my order for same day or next day pick up?
No. We do not have a storefront, we are a home-based bakery. All of our products are baked and decorated to order. You must place an order in advance. Please check calendar for availability.

Do I need to pre pay?
Yes, we kindly request payment in advance to guarantee your order.

What is your cancellation policy?

All orders are paid in full at the time they are placed.  This is not only to purchase special ingredients for your baked goods, but also to hold your date.  For cancellations with more than two weeks’ notice, credit may be given for a future order, subject to the date being available. There will be no refund for orders cancelled inside of two weeks.

Do you offer discount for large orders?
Yes, we can offer you a discount on orders for more than 200 cupcakes.

Where are you located?

We are a home bakery, here in Bixby, Oklahoma.

Do you ship or delivery outside of Oklahoma?
We cannot ship or delivery outside of the state due to home bakery laws.

Do you deliver?
Orders are typically picked up by appointment. If you need delivery for a custom order, it would be dependent on our availability. Delivery fee depends on distance.

Do you include ingredient list or nutritional information?

While we do include a list of ingredients with every order, it does not include nutritional label information.

How do I store my Crumbs Baking Co items?
We recommend that you store your cupcakes at room temperature. If you will be consuming the cupcakes more than 24 hours after purchasing them, you can freeze them and they are good for up to 10 days after they are purchased. To thaw them, leave them at room temperature for 2‒3 hours before they are ready to be served.

Do you offer special icing colors?
Yes we do. Please let us see our cake guide on our website with all of the color options available.

Do you make specialty cakes or decorations?
Yes we do. Please fill out the “custom cake request” form on our website. For specialty cakes we require 3 weeks advance notice.

Do you offer character cakes (i.e., Disney Princess, Spider-man, Mickey Mouse, etc)?

We unfortunately do not recreate licensed characters, copyrighted materials, trademarks, or logos without expressed written consent from the owners as intellectual property laws prohibits this. We do offer options however. We can a design a cake that fits your theme more generically, and you can also increase the star power of your cake by using character candles or figurines. If you would like us to design your cake with a bakery kit (the same kits grocery stores offer - See www.decopac.com ) we require a 2 week lead time to order kits since they are not stocked.

Do you offer fondant or tier cakes?
At the moment we do not offer fondant covered cakes. We do offer small tiered cakes.

How many cupcakes do you recommend per person?
For our cupcakes size we recommend 1 per person. For the mini cupcakes size we recommend 2-3 per person.

How big is a slice of cake?

It depends on how you slice it. Everyone seems to have a different answer, so take a look to see what I recommend. The chart below shows how to slice a Round Cake (3 cake layers + 2 layers of icing) using the Party Style Method vs. Event Style Method.  At home, we tend to cut the more generous Party Style slices. At events, the caterers will usually cut the more moderate Event Style slices .

Keep your event & your guests in mind. Are they more likely to just want a bite or two? Are they going to want seconds? Will there be other desserts available?

Are leftovers really a bad thing?
